Bedtime Already, Still Earning

Lying in bed about to fall asleep and I still checked my messages first. That is just habit now. Hair falling in my face, barely keeping my eyes open, but I scrolled through my inbox anyway because you never know.

Sure enough someone new had messaged me. Said he found my profile and wanted to send me a goodnight gift. I said that is sweet. He sent it. I said thank you and put my phone down. Easy money while I am half asleep.

Bangkok at night is loud outside but my room is quiet. I have my blankets, my pillow, my phone full of notifications from men who want to be the last person I talk to before I close my eyes. They compete for it and I let them.

Some people stop working at five. I earn money in my sleep. Goodnight.
