Songkran Shift, Your Holiday Pay

Everyone else is out playing with water and here I am at work. Blue shirt, braids, lanyard around my neck, looking cute even in a uniform. Songkran does not stop the working girl from working. Someone has to keep things running while the rest of Thailand is soaking wet.

I took this mirror selfie in the back room because even on a holiday shift you have to document the look. Braids today because it is practical and also because I look adorable with braids. Two birds, one hairstyle.

The good thing about working on Songkran is that it is quiet. Less customers, more time for selfies, and the holiday pay does not hurt either. I am making money while everyone else is spending it on water guns.
