Island Day Two, Your Booking
Day two on the island and I almost did not make it here. The road was terrifying, up in the mountains on a motorbike with turns that made me question every decision I have ever made. But I made it. And the view was worth every scary second.
Put on my swimsuit, braided my hair, sat in a beach chair under the palm trees and just breathed. The water was that perfect blue-green color that does not look real. A fan paid for this whole trip because he said I deserved a break from Pattaya. I told him Pattaya is not that stressful when your life is paid for but I accepted the island trip anyway.
Took photos on the beach and by the water and in my chair. Posted them and my inbox turned into a travel agency. Everyone wanted to send me somewhere. One said Bali. One said Japan. One said anywhere I want. I said I will think about it and got back to doing nothing on the sand.
The island is quiet, the water is warm, and I am sitting here in paradise because a man I have never met decided my happiness was worth funding. He is right. It is.
